This step continues the previous series rather than replacing it: the same S1 character, with a longer roof truss and more secondary members.
The difference is not span alone. Eight metres of clear height beneath a fifteen-metre truss means forklift circulation and racking layout can be planned together — below ten metres they are usually resolved one after the other.
The demountability that comes with the bolted system is retained here as well. A warehouse built on leased land can be relocated when the lease ends.
